Team Gurkha Corner potted their fourth straight win of the season as they beat Coton Gloves 9 - 6 in a very closely fought match. Steve Shepherd on cue with 3 wins for the Gurkha while Ade Ward and Brandon Walker were the top Gloves. Even though they've won every game the Gurkha sit 3rd in the table behind leaders Lucky Break 'B' and Newdigate Sports. Sultans Smashers who are now based at Coton Sports beat Lucky Break 'A' 9 - 6 , the match was finally poised going into the last section at 5 each. Max Bromley edged the Break in front but the Smahers took the final 4 frames of the match to take the points. Newdigate Sports produced some top draw pool during their 12 - 3 victory over Miners Rat Pack, Daz Lee, Glenn Dunn and Ian Stephenson taking out a triple while Miners captain Co Gardner won 2 for the hosts. Lucky Break 'B' became the first team to take maximum points as they beat Coton Sports 15 - 0, the win sees them open up a 9 point lead over there rivals.
